Paint Technique: ANTIQUED LEATHER STIPPLING
Primary Paint Tool: THE ORIGINAL WOOLIE by The Woolie
Antiqued Leather Stippling faux finishing technique has existed for centuries. The Stippling technique has been endeared due to it's subtle and soft sophisicated leather-like look. Until now, the faux finish painting technique required a heavy and expensive tool called a stippling brush or block. The Stippling brush in and of itself has discouraged most DIY to embark upon doing this.
Then came The Woolie, which has COMPLETELY turned Stippling into a fast and simple faux finish painting look for your walls. It's regaining it's popularity, thanks to The Woolie sheepskin pad, that NATURALLY creates professional-looking results with this elegant look.
This technique is easiest when two people work together. Person number 1 should roll the faux glaze onto the wall.
